Antisocial behaviour.

Marked high-visibility patrols are being carried out in the ward by local beat officers, supported by the Neighbourhood Task Force’s Problem-Solving Police Community Support Officer. Appropriate Proactive Management Plans will be created to document the activity, including the powers, policies, and legislation used to support it.

Beat officers will maintain close contact with the local community to gather information and intelligence, and to highlight positive outcomes through the My Community Voice platform.

Fly tipping.

Beat officers and Neighbourhood Task Force staff will patrol areas affected by fly-tipping and work in partnership with the Council’s Waste Crime Team to carry out joint operations. As part of this work, they will check waste carrier licences and inspect vehicles suspected of transporting scrap to ensure all documentation is in order.

Theft shoplifting.

Beat officers and Problem-Solving Police Community Support Officers will use the shoplifting toolkit to deal with suspects, support local retailers, and reassure the public that robust action is being taken to address this offence. This approach will be delivered in partnership with relevant agencies and stakeholders.
