Theft shoplifting.

Action

Beat officers and Problem-Solving Police Community Support Officers will use the shoplifting toolkit to deal with suspects, support local retailers, and reassure the public that robust action is being taken to address this offence. This approach will be delivered in partnership with relevant agencies and stakeholders.

Antisocial behaviour - general.

Action

Marked high-visibility patrols are being carried out in the ward by local beat officers, supported by the Neighbourhood Task Force’s Problem-Solving Police Community Support Officer. Appropriate Proactive Management Plans will be created to document the activity, including the powers, policies, and legislation used to support it.

Beat officers will maintain close contact with the local community to gather information and intelligence, and to highlight positive outcomes through the My Community Voice platform.

Antisocial behaviour - nuisance vehicle.

Action

Beat officers will work alongside the Neighbourhood Task Force and Problem-Solving Police Community Support Officers to address this issue using the appropriate operational toolkits, tailored to the specific circumstances. These types of operations have proven successful in the past and have been positively received by the community. Outcomes will be shared through the My Community Voice platform.
