Fly tipping.

Beat officers are patrolling areas affected by fly-tipping and are working with the Council’s Waste Management team to carry out joint operations. They are also checking waste carrier licences and inspecting vehicles suspected of transporting scrap to ensure all documentation is in order.

Fraud.

Crime prevention advice is being shared through the My Community Voice platform. Officers are visiting victims to offer support and provide information about partner agencies that can help further. Visible safety engagement events are also being held to highlight practical steps the public can take to help prevent crime.

Road safety issues.

Beat officers are conducting speed checks and proactively addressing traffic offences while on patrol.
