Local beat officers work closely with affected residents and businesses to understand the issues. They have visited known offenders and issued prohibitive notices and orders to prevent further incidents.

Drug taking.

The local beat officer is aware of locations where drug-related offences occur and regularly patrols these areas. Individuals involved are targeted and arrested wherever possible.

Shoplifting.

The district has seen a reduction in offending, supported by the Neighbourhood Team’s zero-tolerance approach. Officers continue to work closely with local businesses and residents to tackle the issues.
