E-scooters and/or mopeds.

Beat officers are working with the Road Safety Unit to address concerns involving e-scooters and mopeds. Enforcement powers are used where appropriate to ensure public safety and compliance with the law.

Antisocial behaviour.

We work closely with Thanet District Council and other partner agencies to tackle antisocial behaviour. This includes a mix of high-visibility patrols and targeted operations to address issues effectively and reassure the community.

Cannabis smoking.

High-visibility patrols are carried out in areas where youth cannabis use has been identified. Officers work alongside the Child-Centred Policing Team (CCPT) to engage with young people through school visits and home interventions, offering education and support to prevent further issues.
