Current Priorities

Issue

Road safety issues.

Action

Road safety remains a key focus, particularly along the A257. Regular road checks are being carried out at this location and will continue moving forward. Support from Community Speedwatch volunteers will be utilised to help with these efforts. In addition to the A257, other static road checks are being conducted across the district with the aim of both educating drivers and enforcing road safety regulations where necessary.

Issue

Antisocial behaviour - General.

Action

High visibility foot patrols are being conducted across the district to address general antisocial behaviour (ASB). These patrols focus on engaging with local youths, building rapport, and identifying individuals where necessary in case of recurring issues. Where appropriate, measures such as Acceptable Behaviour Agreements (ABAs) and Community Protection Warnings/Notices (CPW/N) will be considered and applied to help manage and reduce ASB effectively.

Issue

Fly tipping.

Action

The council has been contacted and is fully aware of the ongoing fly-tipping issues in the area.
