Periodic operations have been carried out focusing on proactive engagement with the top five retail venues. These include penetration testing followed by tailored crime prevention advice. Officers work closely with retail partners and CCTV operators to detect offences, identify offenders using Section 1 and other relevant powers, and carry out rapid enquiries. Early arrests are made where possible to prevent further offending.
