Operation Warrior is focused on those who are involved in organised drug supply. Wyre Task Force, through the Clear Hold Build project, continue to target and disrupt the supply of drugs in the Wyre area with significant successes and custodial sentences given in the last 18 months. This work will continue to target those involved in the drug supply into the summer months. Operations with Wyre Borough Council and Lancashire County Council have targeted parking hotspot areas, whilst the neighbourhood policing teams continue to enforce community road watch schemes at areas identified by the public in conjunction with the safer roads unit. Specialist antisocial behaviour (ASB) cars are regularly tasked in the Wyre area, with a particular focus on ASB driving. Op Centurion is Lancashire Police’s answer to ASB, with dedicated patrols in identified areas across Wyre. Identified hotspots or repeat areas are discussed with partners at youth and adult ASB meetings.
