Operation Syphon was very successful last year in targeting road safety concerns.
Were planning to conduct further Op Syphon road safety operations across the local policing area.

Licenced premises in the area not adhering to their alcohol license conditions. Having an impact on anti-social behaviour.

The beat team conduct regular patrols around the location and visit licenced premises.
Licensing visits are planned with partner agencies with a view to having all licensed premises in your community strictly adhering to their conditions, we are hoping this will prevent a significant rise in street drinking selling of vapes to minors and anti-social behaviour.
Licenses will be amended or revoked with there are not significant improvements in the coming months.
