Current Priorities

Issue

burglaries in the 20 beat area include car-key breaks , residential , aggravated breaks , attempt breaks and business burglaries

Action

We as a beat team have had over the last 2 months had a few car key breaks in Littlethorpe , Enderby and Narborough, some of the vehicles stolen have been found and recovered. There were 4 x garages broken into on Sycamore way and 2 males were detained and investigated.
The beat team will be prioritizing burglaries and patrolling key areas, please report any issues on 101.or online or in an emergency 999 .

Issue

Road safety is a concern for us on the NH20 beat. This involves speeding on the main busy roads and within residential areas, parking around school zones at pick up and drop of time. Inconsiderate parking on corners and in dangerous positions, blocking pavements and causing pedestrians to have to walk on the road and any abandoned vehicles.

Action

Reports have been made re vehicles without the right documentation, on the 20 Beat , vehicles when appropriate have been recovered or advice notices given.
we have had reports of abandoned and nuisance vehicles in enderby and Narborough the beat team continue to monitor these reports and deal with any offending vehicle with either S59 notices or seizure , or we contact the relevant agencies to carry out further documentation enquires.
The beat team monitors school parking as and when we can , please report any transport issues on 101 or online.

Issue

Issues of general ASB, neighbour disputes and motorcycle riding through residential areas across the NH20 beat.
Mcdonalds ASB issues with groups of youths causing a nuisance .
Fosse park food court riding of E-scooters and bikes

Action

Fosse park and Mcdonalds continue to be monitored re the youth causing concerns , we have an ongoing sentinel for the incidents reported and work with the security team to deal with these issues
The team have been busy with a few ongoing neighbour disputes over noise, fly tipping outside properties and general ASB issues in the areas of Laggan Close , Nairn way , Bradgate close, Queens drive and Chapel street. We have been working closely with our local partner agencies (Environmental team , housing officers ) and have given out warning letters and an ABC and will monitor. Residents in Lubbesthorpe have also reported issues with off road bikes riding on the pavement, we will be patrolling the key areas to try and ID the riders and the offending bikes.
If anyone has any concerns or issues with any of the above please report on 101 or online, and if you can provide us with any details of the bikes or riders this will help with our investigation.
We continue to hold beat surgeries every month for the residents to raise any issues or concerns , please look at the Leicestershire website for dates and times to meet your beat team .
