The local community have raised drug related issues as a new priority for the beat team.

Road safety has been flagged as an issues and encompasses anti social driving in the form of car cruising.

Action

Blaby beat team had received a call regarding cars driving anti-socially in the Oakfield Park, Blaby car park on Sunday 23rd March during the evening. Enquiries had identified three vehicles who have since been visited by Police Officers. All drivers have been issued with section 59 warning notices under the Police Reform Act 2002. This means that if the vehicles or the drivers are seen on a second occasion driving anti-socially the consequence will be the seizure of the vehicle.
