Issue
Issues around e-scooters, children causing ASB and nuisance vehicles.
Action
The Blaby beat team were on foot from Braunstone to Cosby to provide patrols thorough the villages and provide a presence at Victory Park after reports of illegal e-bikes and motorbikes.
Issue
Burglary is a serious acquisitive crime and taken seriously in all areas.
Action
Two burglaries reported in Blaby on Southway have been linked. Officers from CID are currently investigating both incidents. This is still a live crime and there is a lot of work being done around forensics and CCTV in the area. The owner was not at home at the time of the offence. The investigations continue.
Issue
Issues around road safety in the area such as speeding, and antisocial driving as well as insurance offences.
Action
We have received numerous reports of cars racing along the Blaby By-Pass. Our Road Policing colleagues responded to the incident as a result. Section 59 warnings were issued to individuals whose driving was determined to be dangerous at the time of their attendance.
