Off Road Bikes
Action
We received a report of an off road motorbike riding down a street in Countesthorpe at all hours of the night. We patrolled the area on four occasions but were unable to locate the
individual. Another report has come in for two bikes on
Countesthorpe Park, these may or may not be related and once again we attended but they had left just prior to our arrival. If you have any information as to the identity of these individuals please call on 101.

Road Safety
Action
The beat team will engage in speed watch and dealing with any motoring offences.
Issue
Speeding
Action
We received a report of a vehicle which had left the road on the outskirts of Countesthorpe. Upon our arrival and further assistance from PC 4337 Gav & PC 1170 Dennis it turned out the vehicle had indeed left the road and rolled. With no driver in sight our curiosity was grew, however what was clear to us was the distinctive smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle and the multiple bottles of beer. I think it's safe to assume what had happened here. Doing further checks on the vehicle showed that the vehicle was also travelling with no insurance. Just because you leave the scene of an RTC doesn't mean you have gotten away unnoticed. The vehicle was later recovered and the road was made safe.
