The beat team aim to tackle different elements of ASB in Mountsorrel

During the month of April 2025 the Beat Team have spent a significant amount of time around Halstead Park playing fields. A lot of time has been spent either sat in a car at the location completing clerical work or walking around the park. The aim of the presence is public reassurance. The team have also patrolled other places where ASB has been reported previously such as Gilliver Drive..

The beat team aim to tackle speeding in Mountsorrel

On Wednesday 15th April 2025 the Beat Team conducted speed checks down West Cross Lane after concerns were raised by members of the Community. I am pleased to report that the vast majority of vehicles were under the speed limit, with only one recorded of thirty five miles per hour.

Burglaries in and around mountsorrel

Patrols are still being completed around the village during the day and night by the Beat Team and response Officers. I can confirm that there has been one reported burglary for the month up to the time of completing this newsletter. The team are also still completing visits to burglary victims to offer reassurance and crime prevention advice.
