The beat team aim to tackle different elements of ASB in Mountsorrel

During the month of May 2025 the Beat Team have spent a significant amount of time around Halstead Park playing fields conducting high visibility patrols. The aim of the presence is public reassurance and to try and tackle the emerging issue of off road motor bikes and ebikes.

The beat team aim to tackle speeding in Mountsorrel

In May l the Beat Team conducted speed checks along West Cross Lane after concerns were raised by members of the Community. I am pleased to report that the vast majority of vehicles were under the speed limit, with only one recorded of thirty five miles per hour.

Burglaries in and around mountsorrel

Patrols are still being completed around the village during the day and night by the Beat Team and response Officers. . The team are also still completing visits to burglary victims to offer reassurance and crime prevention advice. There has also been a crime reduction stall set up on the 21st of May to offer support and options on home security
