ASB – We are keeping this priority the same as we are aware there are concerns around the issues we have had in previous years with off road bikes on the recreation ground and other open spaces. As done previously, we will be looking to deal with this by way of education and enforcement so the areas can be enjoyed by everyone.

We have been completing high visibility patrols in the hotspot areas - Hillsborough Road, Sturdee Road, Queens Park Way and the Exchange Park - during the summer holidays. We have visited victims and perpetrators of ASB and offered advice and reassurance and dealt with offenders appropriately such as with verbal warning.s, warning letters or further sanctions

Drugs – We are carrying this priority over into the summer months as it has remained an issue. We are aware people are dealing and using on the estate and the wider issues that come from drugs. We are dedicated in tackling those who cause harm in relation to drugs on the EME and welcome any information in regards to those causing these issues.

We have completed a warrant at an address on Grange Drive. High visibility patrols and stop checks have been carried out in and around the Hillsborough Road, Swinford Avenue, Queens Park Way and surrounding alleyways.

There have been several robberies in the area of Swinford Avenue which we are aware have caused some concern in the community. We are continuing to build intelligence and have been carrying out foot patrols in the area. If you know anything, stop us and have a chat!

Plain clothed and uniformed patrols have been taking place across the estate and we are persistently patrolling areas which are linked to incidents of this type.
