Current Priorities
Issue
Anti-social use of vehicles and drug use on Aylestone Meadows.
Action
We have increased our presence in the area and we recently disturbed a group that were suspiciously close to a stolen motorbike, which we subsequently recovered. We patrol the area most days and engage with people in the area to get a better understanding of the issue and gather intelligence.
Issue
Develop drug intelligence in this area, which will hopefully allow us to take enforcement action.
Action
We continue to develop drug intelligence and have carried out enforcement action, for example, we have cleared out multiple addresses where cannabis was being grown. We are particularly interested in anyone that may be dealing, so please continue to pass intelligence to us. You can do this anonymously through Crimestoppers - www.crimestoppers-uk.org
Issue
Anti-social behaviour including drug use in the area of Glenhills Boulevard.
Action
We have increased our presence in the area and have planned some engagement events so that the residents will have the opportunity to speak to us individually. This will enable us to get a better understanding of what is happening and how we can work together to tackle it.
