Drug crime

Drug dealing at multiple locations across the Ward. The cinder path running between Townsend Lane and Breckside Park has been highlighted as a hot spot location. This area forms part of the daily patrol area for Tuebrook neighbourhood officers. The team are trying to identify the source of the problem and develop intelligence to take action against those involved in the supply of drugs within the area.

Several warrants have been conducted at premises across the neighbourhood over the last three months. This has resulted in several arrests, large quantities of drugs being recovered, alongside several viable firearms. The team are continuing to develop intelligence across the neighbourhood and are looking to take action against several new premises and individuals, in the coming weeks.
