Robberies and phone snatch thefts outside Butterfield Green and Matthias Road

We are aware and dealing with robberies and phone snatches around Butterfield Green and Matthias Road. We have been patrolling the areas on a mostly daily basis, utilising plain clothes and high visibility patrols.

We are targeting vehicles parking antisocially with idling and revving engines around Cowper Road, Milton Gardens and Albion Parade.

We will ensure that these areas are included in our daily patrols and vehicles committing offences will be dealt with accordingly.

E bikes and scooters present an ongoing issue throughout Hackney, and we will run several operations targeting these, especially those used in an antisocial manner.

We will be seizing and ticketing those we stop if necessary.
