Reports of fear of crime in the vicinity of the train station. This remains as a priority. Joint partnership work continues to address

Regular patrols, joint operations with with BTP and Drug dogs

Regular drug dealing at various parts of the road.

Regular uniform and plain clothed patrol. Appropriate use of stop and search powers when suitable.

Issues in and around the town centre are ongoing with groups of youths causing ASB and criminal damage to shops and properties

ASB referrals made for several individuals involved in issues at the location. Further action to be taken where necessary. Daily patrols after 1500 hours weekdays and regular contact with centre security guards
