Current Priorities
Issue
Violent offences - Violence against women and girls.
Planned walk and Talks - Aim to build trust with women and girls to be confident when they report violence and abuse.
With those who take part in the 'walk and Talk' to share experiences with officers as they walk through areas they feel vulnerable. Also general, patrols in GREATSFIELD recreation Ground and CONNAUGHT Recreation Ground.
We are aiming to increase patrols at fallowing locations;

LEEDS ROAD
PIELD HEATH ROAD
COLINWOOD ROAD
Action
• Hold ‘Walk, Talk and Do’ events on the ward to ensure the safety and well being of Women and Girls by listening and responding to concerns and creating safer spaces for example by; improved lighting and clear pathways.
• Encourage women and young girls on the ward to use the StreetSafe tool on the Met Police website which allows for anonymous reporting of safety concerns in public spaces.
Issue
Direct patrols to Old Mill Lane Cowley. SNT to target evening and late night patrols in unmarked vehicles and uniformed Hi-Visibility patrols in the ward in an aim to disrupt drugs activity, conducting stop/searches when necessary.
Action
Reduce street drinking around the shops near Hillingdon Hospital
• patrol the area at the times identified by residents as causing concern
• deliver flyers to all shops and residents living above them asking them to report every case of antisocial behaviour linked to drinking, explaining how their evidence helps
• use Met Engage and social media to ask residents to report sales of alcohol to underage or intoxicated people
• working in partnership with Olympic House, Trinity Housing, Grove Lane Uxbridge in managing street drinkers.
Drugs ASB
• Encourage residents to report any signs of potential drug dealing, no matter how small it may seem.
• target patrols at the times and places incidents have been reported
Issue
Continue to carry out High visibility reassurance patrols and plain clothes proactive patrols in these areas of the ward that has been targeted. OWL messages to be sent residents to notify them of any Vehicle crime on the ward teamed with CP advice on home security.
Action
• We will continue aiming to detect, disrupt and deter vehicle crime occurring as the reports are not in specific locations for all motor vehicle related crime on our ward.
• Deliver crime prevention information and use social media to engage with the residents of the ward so they are empowered to help reduce the impact of vehicle crime themselves.
• hold community engagement stalls providing crime prevention advice, raising awareness and security measures.
• Distribute crime prevention leaflets in areas where vehicle crime has taken place.
