Violence against women and girls (VAWG) - Officers will be going into schools and giving talks to women/girls in order to give them information on how they can keep themselves safe when out and about.

Officers will liaise with Women's Groups in the area in order to identify 'hot spot' areas so more targeted patrols can be carried out.
Initiatives such as public campaigns including Walk and Talk, as well as Street Safe will be carried out by officers on the ward, where they will be meeting with females to address any issues or concerns they may have.

Theft - Analysis of recent crime figures and local knowledge has shown an increase in thefts in and around the area of Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood Cricket club, David Lloyds gym and other premises within that boundary.

Officers will conduct high visiabilty patrols, conduct street briefings, offer crime prevention advice and engage in covert policing opertaions to reduce crime and arrest offenders.

Burglary - There has been a spike in burglaries in the area bordered by Cheshnut Avenue, Rickmansworth Road, New Farm Lane and the golf course.

Northwood SNT will conduct patrols in the area at the time the offences have been occuring. Street briefing will be conducted which will provide crime prevention advice and raise awareness of the concern to residents.
