Prolific offenders have also been targeted through the use of stop and search and powers under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act.

This has resulted in the issue of Anti-Social Behaviour warnings, Community Protection Warnings and Community Protection Notices.

Offenders who have breached these orders have also been arrested by officers.

In addition, Operation’s Pilotis, Redding, Ratio and Operation Fresh have all seen extensive patrols in the area with the arrest of wanted offenders for offences of Robbery and Burglary.

Whilst engaged in Operation Fresh Officers also dealt with a domestic assault which resulted in the arrest of an offender.

Designated ward officers and a design out crime officers have recently conducted an Environmental Visual Audit of Ferry Lane to identify areas that may be contributing towards anti-social behaviour and a fear of crime. This involved a walk around of the estate to identify areas of vulnerability and design that could be contributing to offending in that area.

Police will be working in partnership with the council to address this issue and also to reassure the local community.

Issue

This was a Robbery Priority but as this has now seen a reduction in offences and the ward is seeing an increase in Theft Person Offences this priority has now changed.

Issue

Shoplifting Tottenham Hale Retail Park.

Top five offenders identified and this has been the focus of local policing teams, with the Town Centre Team arresting four of those offenders.

This will continue to be our focus as a team.

Top five locations also identified and extra funding secured for extra patrols in this area.

Use of the outreach van to provide extra visibility in the area to deliver crime prevention advice an reassure the public.
