Increased shoplifting across High Barnet has led to additional engagement with retailers. Local officers are taking on investigations at an early stage leading to an increase in the number of offenders arrested.

Utilise the tactic of stop and search to identify offenders. Using intelligence to deploy to hot spot locations that have been identified and being proactive in the approach to open spaces across the ward as we enter the summer months.

Vehicle crime

Utilise plain clothed patrols to target those using vehicles to commit crime across the ward. Using local information and intelligence to develop proactive operations targeting offenders.
