Increased levels of retail crime on Finchley Road including shoplfting, robbery, theft snatch and commercial burglary.

We have conducted both uniform and plain clothes patrols in the area to arrest and charge suspects. Two of the most prolific shoplifters in Camden have been arrested, charged and remanded as a result of our action in the area.

We are now working towards issuing them with Criminal behaviour Orders etc.

Also, we have worked with local stakeholders including representatives from retailers to identify most prolific offenders and collect victim impact statements.

Finally, retailers have been engaged with and Op Retail promoted to standardise victim reporting to the police to ensure key evidence such as CCTV is secured.

Increased reports of residents saying they feel at risk of becoming victims of crime.

Your Ward team have held a coffee with the copper events to provide reassurance to residents. We have also visited victims of crime and provided crime prevention advice. Finally, we have conducted high visibility patrols in areas with higher reported incidents of crime.

Increase in reports of drugs used and ASB in the vicinity of Fairfax Road.

The Ward team have conducted high visibility patrols in the area in partnership with Local Authority and issued ASB warnings. We will look to issue CPNW's, CPNs and ABC's to identified repeat offenders.
