Drugs use and dealing continue to be a frequently reported issue on St Helier West.

We will endeavour to complete intelligence led targeting of hotspot locations and work with other teams and external agencies to tackle the issue. We will utilise stop and search powers.

Continued reporting of theft of and theft from motorvehicles and reports of surron bikes and mopeds being ridden in an antisocial manner.

We will provide routine patrols where possible during the hours in which this crime type occurs.

We will provide crime prevention advice to our communities and build relationships with our local stakeholders.

We have noticed a theme of under reporting from shops on the ward and encourage owners and businesses to report to the police so we can conduct intelligence led operations to target offenders.

We will work closely with local businesses and give crime prevention advice and conduct plain clothes operations to identify offenders and intercept.
