Issue
To reduce violence against the person including personal robberies and violence against woman and girls
Action
Officers continue to carry out high visibility patrols within Richmond Town Centre and work with other strands and partnership agencies whilst taking part in Op Nightingale and Safer Spaces. Overall reduciton in crime within South Richmond by over 15%.

Met in The Park, 6th August, Old Deer Park, End of Exam results 14th and 21st August, and Centre Stage Richmond, 13th September.
Issue
To reduce residential burglaries within the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames.
Action
Burglary hotpsots have been visited by officers from the local ward. SNT have taken over initial contact between victims of burgalry and the Burglary Investigation Teams. High Visiblity Patrols have been increased since spike over the Christmas period. There has been a significant reduction in burglaries in the area due to more patrols in the area, which has also resulted in zero burglaries being reported for over a month.
SNT officers are the single points of contact for all residential burgalries which aims at enhancing communication between victims and police.
Issue
To reduce theft by shoplifting within the town centre.
Action
Regular patrols along George Street due to having numerous stores which have all experienced a number of shoplifting incidents recently. Better collaboration with business owners to secure evidence at the earliest opportunity.
Working wth Met Intel departments to identify trends.
Officers from other departments and specialist units have been provided funding for high visibility patrols in Richmond Town Centre where recently, a number of proific shoplifters have been arrested and are serving custodial terms.
Shoplifting has seen a reduction in Richmond and this has been as a result of more visible policing. Officers are working on building cases against prolific offenders with a view to applying for banning orders.
Working alongside Richmond Bid to reduce shoplifting.
