Current Priorities
Issue
S. To tackle cycle / Ebike enabled crime. Specifically Theft and Traffic Offences.
M. Measured by the number operations and enforcement actions completed.
A. Working alongside specialist units to conduct enforcement operations targetting ebike enabled crime. We will also be conducting traffic operations targetting cyclists and Ebikes commiting traffic offences.
R. This issue has been prevalent across AW BCU, and Westminster that has been an ongoing concern in Marylebone for a few years. Recognised by local officers this type of crime continues to be a matter of concern for WP members.
T. This will be measured and reviewed at the next WP meeting (every three months).
Action
High Visibility Patrols
Working with Harley Street and Baker Street BIDS improving intelligence sharing between us and conducting joint patrols in the area.
Static operations on Baker street standing on the junctions which has reduced ASB and cycle offences from deleverio riders.
Community engagement meetings with residents and council to address deliveroo issues.
Issue
S - This is a Police Proposed Priority. Provide Reassurance to the public regarding burglary, and gather / share intel on trends and offenders.
M - We will personally visit every victim of burglary. We will arrest and tartget known offenders on our ward. We will develop and share intelligence wioth the Westminster Burglary Squad.
A - Monthly intel meetings arranged with The Burglary Investigation Team. Ongoing visits to each victim of residential and non-residential burglary.
R - There whas been an increase in burglary and non-residential burglary within Marylebone within the last 12months.
T - This will be reviewed at the next Ward Panel Meeting.

Multiple arrests for burglary offences by members of our team. Monthly intel sharing meetings and vitim visits are ongoing.

S - To target prolific theft offenders using enforcement and partnership working. Retail theft is continuing to rise within Marylebone. The ward has a large number of retail within it, so this is a priority that the Ward Panel were keen to address.
M - We will conduct plain clothes Operations in and around theft hotspots / venues to arrest offenders and deter future criminality. We will be working with Business Improvement Teams to share intelligence. We will target the most prolific offenders to reduce theft offences.
