Regular speed checks and patrolling ASB hot spots where vehicles are being driven in an Anti-social manor.
When speed checks are conducted, if there is a speeding radar device available, and an officer trained enforcement tickets will be issued.
If ASB in a vehicle is recorded and provided to police, or witnessed by police a possible Sec 59 notice will be issued.
This is where a vehicle is used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance.
If 1 of these notices is issued in a 12 month period the vehicle may be seized on the second occurrence.
Through intelligence checks on Connect, the police intel system direct patrols to information of drug use or sales.

Tackling violence and safeguarding vulnerable people.

Reassurance visits to vulnerable people who have been to the attention of the Designated Ward Officers by means of Fraud and ASB.
This may be an online fraud, where vulnerable persons have been convinced to give over their cash card details, or elderly persons who have been conned on the door step to have building work done. Patrols in areas identified through Connect intelligence to be suffering with ASB or violence.
