Anti-Social Behaviour
Action
You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025
•A community meeting was held in Crick to address residents' concerns about anti-social behaviour affecting the local area. Officers have increased targeted patrols at key times between 3pm and 7pm each day, and no further reports of anti-social behaviour have been received.
•A meeting was held at Daventry police station to address the concerns arising from an increase in anti-social behaviour incidents within Daventry town centre, primarily resulting from the behaviour of a known group of young people. Following this, acceptable behaviour contracts were issued to the key perpetrators in the presence of their family members, and intervention activities commenced. This has resulted in reduced reports of anti-social behaviour within the town.
•Operation Fragment has begun on The Grange estate in Daventry, to target anti-social behaviour in this specific area through partnership working and coordinated police activity and disruption. While in the early stages, activity is planned for the coming months.
•Concerns from Byfield Parish Council regarding the behaviour of a group within the village were responded to, resulting in anti-social behaviour advice letters being issued and families being spoken to, addressing the concerns raised.
•Daventry has benefitted from increased funding from the Home Office to target anti-social behaviour at key times in hotspot areas. This has supported increased visible patrols throughout the evenings, with officers patrolling on foot in the town centre between 2pm and 10pm most evenings from October to March.

Road Safety & Road Traffic Offences
Action
You Said, We Did - October 2024 to March 2025
Your local neighbourhood officers have undertaken several measures to improve road safety and address traffic offences across the district:
•The team has successfully recovered untaxed vehicles from various locations within Daventry town, including The Grange, Brindley Close, Browns Road, and Brunel Close, as well as the villages of Weedon, Crick, Overstone, and Brixworth.
•A notable vehicle stop at DIRFT in Crick resulted in the recovery of a vehicle. The driver was reported for driving without insurance and a licence
•Static roadside speed enforcement has been conducted, using hand-held speed monitoring devices, in Welton, Long Buckby, Daventry town, Boughton, Overstone, Maidwell, Brixworth, Kelmarsh, and other villages that have reported concerns. Various offences were addressed and five traffic offence reports were issued. This is in addition to the regular presence of the Safer Roads Team mobile enforcement vans in the area.
•Proactive patrols in areas of concern have led to the issue of tickets to the owners of numerous vehicles that had been parked causing unnecessary obstructions.
•Road safety talks have been held at Badby School and Crick Primary School, with additional talks planned throughout the year to increase awareness of road safety.

•A number of stolen vehicles have been recovered within Northamptonshire through community reports, the extensive ANPR network, and proactive vehicle stops.
•Collaborative enforcement efforts with neighbouring forces have resulted in the recovery of vehicles stolen within Northamptonshire from the Warwickshire Police area.
