Priority July - Sept 2025
Police, Partners, and the business community have raised concerns around ASB and crime across the NPA.
Action
We have seen an increase in visitors to the town centre because of the summer break. Coinciding with this is the good weather which has led to an increase in activity at local restaurants, bars and pubs. This is positive as Beeston is seen as a desirable area where shoppers and visitors want to attend. Unfortunately, there has been an increase in ASB. The types of ASB are people riding on pedal bicycles and E/bikes, scooters causing ASB. There have been a couple of reports of begging and these people were spoken to and advised. NPT will be patrolling the areas to deter and identify those causing issues and taking appropriate action.
Issue
Police, Partners, and the business community have raised concerns around ASB across the NPA. NPT and partners plan to work together, to provide support where necessary through partnership work and arrest and convict offenders.
Action
Eastwood South has had a decrease in ASB over this last month which is excellent news. This is down to the partnership work between Police and Broxtowe Borough Council. We have been out patrolling the areas and engaging with people and businesses.
