Current Priorities
Issue
We are targetting knife-crime throughout North West Sheffield. This includes thiose who use, carry or are threatened by knife-crime.
Action
We will use targetted patrols, the night-time economy, education partners and all other means to reduce knife-crime significantly.
Issue
Retail theft is a national and local problem. We will support large, medium and small businesses.
Action
We will target offenders and support retail staff throughout the area.
Issue
New students away from home from the first time will be vulnerable to criminals. Burglary, threats within the Night-Time Economy and violence against women and girls are all issues to be dealt with.
Action
We will work with the University of Sheffield, private landlords and licensed premises to keep students safe.
