Anti-social behaviour (ASB), including the gathering of young persons.

We have been engaging with the local community to find out common themes and identify the issues.
We are aware that these issues increase through the warm summer months and will be focusing on increased officer presence in the problem areas over the next three months. We will positively engage with those we find are involved and speak with parents. Where suitable, a partnership approach with the local authority will take place.

Anti-social vehicle use including nuisance driving and dangerous use of vehicles that cause harm, fear, or disruption in public spaces.

Over the next three months, we will be increasing patrols in known hotspots for car meets, off-road biking, and street racing. We will use powers under the Road Traffic Act and Anti-Social Behaviour legislation to seize vehicles, issue penalties, and disperse gatherings.
