The green open spaces of Beacon Park are just a stone’s throw away complete with an 18-hole golf course alongside crazy golf for the young at heart; a children's play area, lake, bowling green, tennis courts and scout hut.
The park is used for sporting and other events including the annual Lichfield Bower, Proms in the Park and the Fuse Music Festival. The area is also home to Lichfield hockey and rugby club and Lichfield Archery Club.
Current Priorities
Issue
Preventing and disrupting vehicle crime is a priority as identified from feedback from the community and monitoring crime statistics.
Action
Local officers are actively tackling vehicle crime, by working alongside key specialists in criminal investigations, forensics, roads policing, and in coordination with neighbouring policing teams and police forces. We are conducting both overt and covert operations to disrupt offending and bring offenders to justice.
