Tamworth’s historic town centre has seen many changes over the years - but many of its fine old buildings remain.

Today, it is a vibrant and lively shopping area with most well-known stores doing business in its pedestrianised centre. Tamworth Castle overlooks the town and is a landmark with a long and distinguished history.

Tamworth has some fine open spaces and is home to the unusual but very popular Snowdome where skiers can test their slalom skills on a piste of real snow.
