It is adjacent to the county’s boundary with Warwickshire and until 1965 was part of Warwickshire. It is mainly residential with a few convenience stores and pubs.

Preventing and disrupting drugs offences.
Action
Local officers are targeting drug dealers, including the harms associated with the exploitation of vulnerable people and county lines drug dealing, which has been identified as a priority from feedback from the community. We are actively developing community intelligence and conducting overt and covert policing activity alongside specialist proactive units. Local officers are also working in partnership with other agencies to improve the support provided to tackle addiction in the community.

Action
Local officers are tackling anti-social behaviour by adopting a problem-solving approach to vulnerable locations in the Glascote area. We are working in collaboration with a range of partners, to get to the root of problems and solve them for the long-term. This includes problems as identified from feedback from the community, relating to illegal motorcycles and drugs.
