Current Priorities
Issue
Rural crime, particularly affecting the farming community.
Action
We have secured funding through the Community Safety Partnership to support local farmers to forensically mark agricultural equipment to deter thieves and reduce rural crime in the area. Forensic marking kits have arrived and local officers will be offering kits to local farmers in the coming weeks.
Issue
Road safety and speeding.
Action
We are working with the Safer Roads Partnership and our roads policing unit to deploy in the area to support our neighbourhood officers and tackle concerns.
