Geographically, Norton Canes is isolated from the rest of Cannock. It straddles the M6 Toll road and is also home to the only service station on the highway.

The area encompasses part of Chasewater, which is a popular regional watersport and leisure facility. It borders Trent Valley division in Burntwood, along with Watling Neighbourhood Policing Unit and the West Midlands towns of Brownhills and Pelsall.

Current Priorities

Issue

Tackling anti-social behaviour in the Norton Canes area, in particular the anti-social use of vehicles and criminal damage to vehicles.

Action

Officers are working closely with local business owners and Community Safety Partnership teams to ensure open spaces are a safe environment. Our teams provide a number of initiatives including intervention work to ensure those committing ASB are diverted to positive activities.
