Ongoing youth-related violence within Cannock Town Centre.

Op Alhena has been set up to target offenders by bringing them to justice but also safeguarding individuals. Officers have been completing high visibility patrols in and around the town centre to reduce offences. Local officers have worked closely with colleagues in our Criminal Investigation Department to identify several offenders responsible for crimes.
Colleagues in the community safety partnership teams have also been supporting and working with community groups, shop owners and residents to provide crime prevention advice.

Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour, is a priority for our local officers.

Local officers are tackling anti-social behaviour by adopting a problem-solving approach to identified vulnerable locations by providing high visibility patrols. Working in collaboration with a range of statutory, non-statutory and 3rd sector partners, to get to the root of problems and solve them for the long-term.

Preventing and disrupting shoplifting is a priority for our local officers.

Local officers are actively tackling shoplifting, by working alongside key specialist stakeholders including businesses in coordination with neighbouring Policing Teams and Police Forces. We are conducting operations to disrupt offending and bring offenders to justice.
