Proactive measures are being taken against individuals involved in retail crime. Arrests have been made, and applications for longer-term preventative orders are being pursued against repeat offenders. A recent Criminal Behaviour Order was successfully obtained in response to persistent offending by an individual.
Ongoing efforts are targeting individuals who consume alcohol and engage in anti-social behaviour. Enforcement of Lowestoft’s Public Space Protection Order has resulted in fines being issued to those found in breach of its conditions.

To tackle the issue of Anti-Social behaviour and criminal damage in Gunton.

Police patrols have been conducted in the residential areas of Gunton, including Gunton Woods and the Gunton Burial Grounds, in response to recent concerns.
Investigations are ongoing into damage caused within the burial grounds. Police are working in partnership with the relevant trust to identify those responsible and to explore preventative measures to deter further offences.
As part of continued community engagement, officers recently attended the Gunton Parish Meeting to provide residents with an update on current policing activity and ongoing initiatives in the area.
