ASB driving in Sudbury town centre and Industrial areas.

1) Regular checks of hotspot areas being carried out and vehicles being moved on and dealt with if found to be acting in an anti social manner.

2) Commissioned operation inclduing officers from RAPT attending to deal with drivers robustly.

Criminal Damage to St Peters Church, Sudbury

1) Visibility partols targeting times at key times when damage is believed to be taking place.
2) Engagement with church and crime prevention advice given and smart water kits

Partnership work looking at crime prevention that can be put in place to prevent further issues including smart water and CCTV.

Town Centre ASB and Street drinking

1) Patrols carried out in hotspot areas of town and encounters with persons involved in any anti social behaviour.

CPN warning letters have now been issued to the most prolific offenders and Licencing along with CPT have completed rigorous licencing checks on all shops selling high volume alcohol

The proprietors are engaging well with Police and have now stopped selling these to anyone associated with street drinking

Posters have also been placed in all stores working with police advising of a no tolerance policy on any individual being rude or abusive to staff for refusal of the ale of alcohol

2) Community Protection warning letters to be given to all those responsible for this behaviour which can then be escalated to further orders.

3) Proactive engagement with persons on patrol at key times.

4) Licencing work around selling alcohol and encourage a positive working relationship to prevent further issues.

Enquiries in the are to try to locate where the smell of the Cannabis was emanating from ASB questionnaires sent out to residents

Police worked to locate the location of the Smell subsequently building an package obtaining a Court Warrant for an address in the Station Road area this was completed and around 20 mature Cannabis plants located in a set up in a shed and a further 19 smaller cannabis plants located in the address 1 male has been arrested and is has currently been released under investigation
