Shoplifting - we have seen an increase in theft offences from Tesco, Poundland and Iceland.

We have conducted engagements with local shops and are routinely using CCTV where there are offences committed to identify offenders using facial recognition. Following arrests made we have been issuing offenders with community protection warnings alongside the criminal investigation to prevent further offences.

ASB - we have seen some instances of anti-social behaviour reported around the Everyman Cinema where young persons have caused disruption to the local community.

Officers have been patrolling on foot and are now completing returns on our new Hotspot policing application. This allows us to record our activity and obtain necessary data so we can ensure our patrols are effective at the right times.

We have engaged with the cinema and they report an improvement in the area follwoing our patrols. We will continue to monitor this over the summer period.
