Issue

Shoplifting - Increased theft from shops and in some cases threats/violence towards hardworking staff who work in them

Action

-Regular engagement with local shops and businesses to increase confidence in reporting crime to the police and improving security.

-Working with local shops to identify and apprehend suspects.

-Regular patrols within the area at Irregular times.

Issue

Anti-social behaviour - Youth related ASB / vehicle use such as speeding, E-scooters and poor driving / Use of catapults / use of face covering in particular balaclavas

Action

-Foot Patrols within hot spot areas, such as Shepperton High street.

-Engagement with partners with regards to talking with schools.

-‘Meet the beats’ and ‘Street the weeks’ to talk to community members about problems within an area.

Issue

Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) - Areas that the community tell us they feel unsafe / inappropriate or unpleasant behaviour / sexual offences /domestic abuse

Action

Working with local business to promote awareness around domestic abuse and safety for women.

Issue

Drug related harm - Targeting drug dealers and associated violence in particular knife crime.

Action

Proactive action around detection of Drug dealing and arrests

Issue

Serious acquisitive crime : Burglary/Robbery - Burglary from residential properties. Street robberies.

Action

Proactive patrols, and actively targeting Burglars.

We have Arrested known and prolific burglars within the area.
