Recent Burglary series in rural urban areas on Cranleigh.
Action
Local officers have increased patrols in the Cranleigh area and have been working closely with our colleagues in the Burglary team in an attempt to identify offenders and reduce offences.

Rural Crime along the A281 corridor.
Rural crime encompasses various offenses that occur in rural areas including.
Theft of Plant equipment or fuel, damage to property, livestock worrying, poaching and tack theft.
Rural crime has significant impacts on communities including economic, social and environmental.
Action
Surrey police carried out an Operation targeting Rural crime on the 17th May 2025 resulting in 3 persons being arrested 75 vehicles were stopped and 5 seized.
