Issue
Shoplifting - Farncombe
Reports of retail crime have been increasing nationally.
Surrey Police have prioritised retail crime and has seen a significant increase in the number of offender identified arrested and charged for offences.
Action
Local officers complete regular patrols of Farncombe, liaising with retailers and encouraging reporting of offences.
We work closely with neighbouring forces to identify suspects and take positive action to bring them to justice.
In April this year we ran a week long operation targeting organised shoplifters resulting in a number of arrests.

Anti-social behaviour - Farncombe village centre
Action
Local officer has increased patrols in the area and has been liaising with local shops and business to identify offenders and encourage reporting.
