Current Priorities

Issue

Speeding

Action

We are actively addressing concerns around speeding through a combination of enforcement and intelligence-led policing.
We are regularly conducting proactive speed checks in key locations and with the recent introduction of a new speed indication device, we are now equipped to monitor vehicle speeds in separate location and take appropriate action against those exceeding limits.
In addition, we are using information received through the public and Operation Crackdown to identify and target individuals involved in anti-social driving. This intelligence allows us to focus our efforts where they are most needed and take enforcement action where necessary.

Issue

Rogue traders/cold callers

Action

We are actively engaging with the community at local events, visiting vulnerable residents and care homes, to raise awareness and offer preventative advice, ensuring residents remain informed and reassured.
