Current Priorities

There has been an increase in complaints from local residents regarding speeding on roads in Hall Green. A number of roads have been highlighted including the Stratford Road.

Action

Officers patrolled hotspot locations and have been working with partner agencies conducting a number of speed operations during the month of June as part of our community priority.

Issue

Along with a number of different schools on the Hall Green area, Reddings Lane and surrounding roads is having an issue with dangerous parking during school opening and closing times. This is a particular issue at this location due to three schools being in very close proximity.

The neighbourhood team are also involved in joint partnership working with the local council, schools and Better Streets for Birmingham to identify a long term solution.
Further patrols have been carried out , drivers advised and ticketted across a number of local schools

Issue

Following a poll via Twitter, the community have asked that the team focus on parking/traffic offences as one of their priorities for the month of May

Action

Further patrols led by PCSO Evans have ticketed a number of vehicles, this is an ongoing local priority being addressed
