Current Priorities
Issue
Coventry Road (Heybarnes to Muntz Street) - In several locations there is open drug dealing and drug use, mainly nitrous oxide. This is bringing ASB and disorder to the area affecting the safety and wellbeing of the local community. Within this there is issues linked to 24/7 shops and those using these establishments. Womens safety has been highlighted with instances of catcalling being reported.
Action
01st September 25 - This is date the priority goes into effect. We have already secured a closure order on two stores in recent months with further operations planned for the month. Along with this a vehicle operation is planned to remove vehicles in the area. We have also been in contact with our partners to ensure vehicles cannot park in front of the gates at Small Heath Park.
Issue
From Finnemore and through to Daniels Road there is open drug dealing, namely Class A and Class B drugs. In this same location are a group of men who drink alcohol and cause ASB for the local community. There is then vehicles speeding and driving anti-socially around the roundabout on Daniels Rd.
Action
1st September 25 - Date this priority comes into effect. Several operations planned and we will be working with internal and external partners to draft solutions to these issues
Issue
Parking is constrained across the ward and this is compounded by vehicles that should be present on the road being present. Several locals buy vehicles at auction but store these on residential streets

Issue
Barnesville Close has several issues of ASB by local youths. Driving antisocially, causing criminal damage and drug use
