We are aware that speeding is a concern for the local community. We will take a proactive stance on speeding as this remains a risk to the wider public and road users

Working with the Highways-DVLA and the WM Road Harm Team. Operations will be carried out to educate road users/conduct proactive operation to reduce harm due to speeding across the ward . This will be conducted within the coming months.

There have been reports of vehicles obstructing the public highway and vehicles with no tax across the ward area. This inconveniences members of the community the general public and can look unsightly for persons visiting the ward.

Officers from the team will be working with our partner agencies to seek to reduce this issue. Also any vehicles which are checked while officers are on patrol and have no valid tax will be removed This will be carried out during the next three months

Youth engagement is a priority in order to build a positive relationship with young people.and to support

Officers throughout the holiday period will be patrol local parks and wider community to engage/ raise awareness of keeping safe whilst enjoying the summer holidays.
