Issue
Vehicle Crime and in particular vehicle cannibalism
Action
We have developed a patrol plan to incorporate our risk locations and are working with force resources to make sure that we have the right resources with the correct skill sets to combat this crime.
Operation Fearless officers are deployed to the area and are working with local officers to add value to our policing operation.
This issue is now resolved
Issue
Robbery is a key priority for our local officers, and ensuring that the City Centre is a safe environment for everyone motivates them.
Action
Local officers including our Op Taurus Team are actively engaged in a number of overt and covert policing operations.
Utilising such skills as Servator; and working under the operation name ICEFORGE. They deploy on a daily basis in key locations.
We are further supported by our colleagues from the CID Robbery Team who are key stakeholders to ensure that our operational activities are driven through the criminal justice processes achieving the best outcome for the public.

Issue
Anti-Social Behaviour has many forms in the City Centre; from street drinking, drug use, homelessness, illegal use of e-bikes, illegal street vendors and begging.
Action
Under the Operation name Op Galanthus; and others our local officers are targeting these key issues, we are working closely with key stakeholders from local BIDs and the City Council to remove and deter people intent on causing ASB.
This is ongoing - Proactive operations are planned, linked with key city centre partners

Operation Redfinch. Operation to protect the most vulnerable children in our City who are at risk of child sexual exploitation

Proactive patrols in key locations to engage with those at risk of CSE to ensure they are safe and to ensure safeguarding

Monitoring gang tensions within the city centre and sharing information and intelligence with partners within West Midlands Police
