Off road bikes on public land.

Over the last month we have carried out joint work with the force traffic department alongside the road harm reduction team and the off road bikes team. This work led to 2 arrests for other offences alongside numerous people being advised. This work is ongoing over the next few months and will coincide with gaining intelligence around where the bikes are stored. Once that is gained, visits and warrants will be carried out to prevent further illegal activity through the use of off road bikes.

Drug dealing in tower blocks.

Over the last month, visits have taken place to the blocks. We have not come across people at this stage. The plan moving forward is to share the details of those located with partner agencies and support groups who can assist the drug users. Those found to be drug dealing with drugs on them will be arrested. This will be ongoing work through the local team.

Reduction in retail crime - Ongoing retail related crime in various stores in the Quinton area and on the high street

Over the last month, we have carried out a number of visits to key locations in the area with a view to offering help, support and advice to the business owners. We will continue this work going forward.

We will be running joint operations with store security and engagement with retail recovery agents and the criminal justice system

Existing operations have resulted in a vast reduction of offences however this will be ongoing to cement and increase the reduction
