Officers will be conducting regular patrols and working with partners as part of Operation Wayfarer. Officers are also working with the housing outreach team to re-house rough sleepers. Numerous rough sleepers have already been re-housed and offered support since the start of the year. Repeat shop lifters have been arrested and banned from the area with the assistance of the probation and prison service. Monthly partnership meetings are taking place to drive down crime and find out the issues that really matter to the community.

A number of reports of speeding concerns and poor driving. This includes the use of off road bikes.

Officers are conducting patrols across the ward area and will take appropriate action. Op Snap via WMP Website is available to send in footage for assessment and action to be taken. Community Speedwatch is also available to set up.

Reports of drug use and environmental concerns linked to drug use around Hillary Grove and alleyway leading from Sir Herbert Austin Way.

Officers are engaging with the local community, reviewing reported incidents and taking the appropriate action with partner agencies. Patrols are being conducted on a regular basis and the situation appear to be improving.
